For Santa Rosa's size and population there is room for competition .

Well there is some competition....

For rifles, shotguns and ammo there is Big 5 & Western Sport Shop.

For nearly everything, including LEO only stuff, there is Markell in Larkfield.

For anything else, including the best prices around to order from Gallery of Guns.com, there is Ron at Suron in Guerneville.

But yeah... Santa Rosa proper could probably do well with a full line, full service, EBR friendly, no FUD FFL in a good location.

I agree with all that you said, particularly the last of the last line.

We, at least, have Wael and Gabe in Petauluma, just 20 minutes drive south for our 'featured' rifles.

Yes, I'll let you know; no word so far. I call him tomorrow to make sure he has not forgotten.

Replying to the idea that someone should open a second general gun store in Santa Rosa, knock yourself out. If you have an extra 6 months or so, a lot of extra cash, patience, and a great lawyer, you could just get started. The process is very tedious and mind boggling. So I am grateful that at least we have one great store that is willing to "try" to get you what you want. Gunlovers need to support each other in order to keep our second amendment rights alive.

Mallard, and update: I wend by S&T to pickup a firarm out of gaol this week and they still can't sell their used inventory. Vick says it should be soon. I sure hope so.

Article, Thanks! It seems to be taking too long for this to happen. I sure hope this is not a stall tactic. I have been hearing this from him since Jan 27th. Good luck on your purchase. I finally got my gun through creative unorthodox business practices.

I agree, but I like Vick and I'm patient when it comes to firearms.

Three cheers for creative unorthodox business practices!

My wife went in to sign for the gun this week so the last domino has fallen!
