I'd be willing to bet that each and every one of them has guns at their home. Hell, they probably all have a CCW and carry every day.

Senator Perata absolutely had a concealed carry permit for a number of years, issued by the Alameda County Sheriff. Had a Berretta 92 on it IIRC. He claimed, after his recent carjacking, that he gave it up a year or two ago. But yes... he still owns firearms. He is the named target of an ongoing FBI investigation for public corruption. Thankfully he is termed out this year and it will be at least two years before he could try to run for statewide office.

Senator Polanco "retired" in 2002, thankfully, and doesn't seem to be interested in public office anymore. He is too busy advancing Aztlan, apparently.

Assmeblyman Knox was term limited out in 2000 only to be succeeded by the even more anti-rights Assemblyman Paul Koretz the author of numerous anti-gun bills, who in turn was termed out in 2006 and has filed to run for the LA City Council. The 42nd District is now represented by the (no surprise) anti-rights Assemblyman Mike Feuer.

Assemblyman Jack Scott is now Senator Jack Scott. He is the author of the currently under consideration SB1171 and has authored or sponsored numerous anti-rights bills. He also is, thankfully, term limited out this year. Look up SB1171 and tell yourself that he can't be term limited out soon enough... because it won't be soon enough.

Assemblyman Mike Honda has been a Congressman since 2001, representing the 15th District... a big chunk of San Jose and Santa Clara County.

Gray Davis.... 'nuff said.

Attroney General Bill Lockyer, who wants desperately to be Governor Bill Lockyer, is currently suckling at the public's teat as State Treasurer. He authored or co-sponsored a number of anti-gun pieces of legislation as an Assemblyman and later as a state Senator.

Senator Feinstein had, for many years and quite hypocritically, a concealed carry permit issued by the San Francisco Police Department. This bit her in the ass when, as mayor, she called for San Francisco's first failed attempt at a gun ban and theatrically turned in a handgun she owned. She did not, however, turn in the gun that was on her permit.

Senator Boxer... what a mixed bag. She takes our rights away but fought tenaciously for the Federal Flight Deck Officer program, AKA armed airline pilots.

Go figure.

I nominate Governator Ahnold for the CA HoS, as he proudly signed AB 1471 (semi-auto microstamping) and AB 821 (lead-free ammo for the condors) last year.

The Governator is also no friend of car enthusiasts, as he also proudly signed Sally Lieber's bill (AB 2683) that killed the 30-year rolling exemption for emissions inspections. Currently, 1976-and-newer (gasoline) vehicles will need a biennial inspection for the rest of their forseeable future in Calif.

Guns and old cars are two of my main hobbies, and the *liberals* frequently target and attack the existence of both...

With the signing of AB 962, does the Governator reach top-step in the CA HoS?

Thanks, I needed that.

I've disliked the Governator since he signed the bill (from Sally Lieber) that killed the 30-year rolling smog check exemption. I participated in the fight against it.

Some Republican he is.

Oh yeah, now I remember who his wife is...
