I just got finished with a gun trade. I have been trying to get a S&W Mod 29 for a while and it finally happen. It was local and the people involved were extremely pleasant.

I got ammo and now I just need good weather to try this baby out.

Now THAT is what I'm talkin' about..... pinned, recessed and the three T's. Doesn't get any better than that. Only question is the tube 6 or 6.5?

There've been a bunch of 29's and 629's popping up on Calguns lately. A lot of 8 3/8 inchers some 4 inch and the odd 6 inch here and there. I'm holding onto my dough for the moment looking for the perfect Model 19 or 66 snub , but for that beauty I'd have definitely gone into hock.

Well done zinfull!!!

It is a 29-2 with a 6" barrel. I will try next week to get out and do some shooting. It came with 600 rounds of ammo.

Had a hunch that it would be a 6 inch. The 6.5 inch having the "Dirty Harry" cachet are a lot harder to find.

Have fun with it and don't forget the range report.

They say size does not matter. Oh to have a 6.5 incher.

I know those are the earlier ones but they have to be already in state. Damn drop test list makes it that much harder.
