Zeroing a shotgun??

Postby ioxymoron » Fri May 04, 2012 4:54 pm

Hi Guys-

I just got a new shotgun that has adjustable peep sights. Presumably, it will need to be zeroed the same way a rifle would. My question is, what distance should it be zeroed for, and what ammo should be used to zero it? I'm thinking slugs, but I don't really know. This is not a hunting gun; it's for home defense.

Also, is there any consensus on the old double aught/bird shot question for defensive ammo?

Thanks,

Larry
