First of all I want to thank everyone on this site for all the information I have received since first becoming
a member 4 months ago. All of your comments on the forums, advice and shared experience and local gun shops has
been a huge help to a newbi who is just getting into firearms.
My question for everyone today is if anyone knows any shops I should look at to get a great price on a Ruger SR9.
I have seen online prices from $399-$560. I have been to a gun shop in Petaluma (petaluma gun & reloading supplyā€ˇ. GREAT customer service) and the SR9 they have is going for $570. I am looking for a great deal so I can stock up on ammo. From what I understand, next year we will have to fill out forms every time we go to buy ammo....what a pain.
Any suggestions????

I can't speak for the SR9, having never shot one, but I can vouch for the SR40C my brother recently purchased as his new summertime CCW. Darned thing shoots like a house on fire. FAR more accurate than any other .40 I've fired. 100% reliable so far. Beyond the too small safety (for me), it's a great little boomer.
